Real Food Gypsy
Thanks for checking out my blog! Real Food Gypsy is a food & travel blog created to equip others with the knowledge and ability to live a healthier life. I truly believe we should be able to eat the foods we love and not feel guilty. My favorite thing in the world is to travel and find #RealFood restaurants, which is how the idea of “Real Food Gypsy” came along. Traveling and eating healthy should be easy and not frustrating, & I am determined to find all the cool spots. I basically travel so I can eat, because I think culture is best experienced through food…no matter where you are.
It’s all about REAL FOOD, not calorie counting. So yes, you will find everything from juice bars to comfort food, ice cream, and burgers on here. If a restaurant is listed, that means it fits one or more categories, and I’ve done my best to specify that with each post. I’m all about buzzwords like: Organic, anti-biotic & hormone free, grass-fed, pasture-raised, farm-to-table, local, sustainable, and lifestyle friendly because I’ve seen first hand how these things can impact our life and our world.
The purpose of this blog is to leave you feeling encouraged and hopeful as you pursue your personal journey to health. I’ve also mixed in some simple recipes, because what can I say… I love to share something if I think it tastes good!
