L.A. Chapter is a charming restaurant located off the lobby in the trendy Ace Hotel in downtown LA. It serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but breakfast & brunch are the real winners here! The menu focuses on locally sourced ingredients, fresh herbs and spices, and seasonal vegetables, creating dishes that bring both comfort and nourishment. The avocado toast with a poached egg is phenomenal as is the breakfast sandwich, that gets a little messy. The signature lemon ricotta pancakes, which was one of the most delightful things I’ve ever tasted and featured sliced banana, blueberries, strawberries, and an ice cream-sized scoop of honeycomb butter, were recently changed to a simplified version with butter and blueberry compote. Needless to say, the old-version is HIGHLY missed. But don’t get me wrong, the pancakes are still good.
A restaurant offering gluten-free or other dietary options does not does mean ‘allergy-free’ facility as their kitchens are not guaranteed to be 100% allergy-free and cross contamination may occur.
