Hotel Theodore is probably my favorite place we’ve stayed in Seattle. It’s only a few blocks from Pike Place and steps from shops and delicious eateries. The location was the best, because we could pretty much walk everywhere downtown and around the Capitol Hill district. It’s a quick Uber ride anywhere and we really enjoyed the hotel and the atmosphere. It was clean, modern, and comfortable, especially for the two of us. The hotel has a coffee bar serving locally-roasted coffee and a delicious restaurant, Rider that features local & sustainable food in a relaxed environment. This hotel is all about setting the mood, so the lights are always dim and the fireplace in the lobby is always lit. There’s a fitness center and free wifi, but no pool, which wasn’t a big deal for us. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. We checked out and still had a few hours left of exploring, and the front desk kept our bags while we ventured around the city. Oh, and they’re happy to lend you a book to read, print off your boarding pass, or anything else you need. The place is pet-friendly as well!
